Name: Celia Fulton Walden
Screen Name: Celia, Community Moderator
Celia Fulton Walden is the Community Moderator for Art Authority. Throughout her career she has worn many hats and lived in many places, but the great unifying element has always been art. Holding a BA in Political Science from Barnard College and a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University, she became enthralled with the use of folk art in elections in South and Southeast Asia as well as the blossoming contemporary art scene there. After traveling extensively and working all over the US, she finally decided to take the plunge and attend The Pacific Northwest College of Art in 1997 and later Southern Oregon University to study painting. In the subsequent years, she has gone on to become primarily an abstract painter and a maskmaker and is in the process of setting up a teaching space in Port Townsend, WA.
